Original "Radio Pirata" Bandmember To Perform At The Neuyorrican Café

Rafa Carrasquillo, original keyboardist of the groundbreaking Spanish Rock band Radio Pirata, will be performing next Wednesday, August 27, at the Neuyorrican Café in Old San Juan.

The line-up includes Nitayno Arayoan [also a Radio Pirata alumi] on drums and Sammy Morales on bass.

Carrasquillo made history in his native Puerto Rico together with Rucco Gandía, Roberto Torres, Bobby Trinidad, Nitayno Arayoan as Radio Pirata became the first Spanish Rock band to perform at the Luis A. Ferré Perfoming Arts Center, the most prestigious venue in the Island. During their short but successful period, the band was signed by Fonovisa, and received major award like Premios Tu Música for Best Album and a Golden Momo for Best Local Rock Band.
