Pure Ol’ Simple Rock N’ Roll
Reverend JRC, Big Papa, Porfy Lee, Eggie Fingers, and Denis Punk. Their nicknames are humorous, but together they create and perform an excellent sound.
They call themselves ÖVRDRVE [pronounced overdrive]. Bare in mind that they are not a group that came from a garage in surbubia, or that they went to every single dive just be be heard. These musicians have already worked with other bands in Puerto Rico like Efecto Secundario, Demencia 13, Viuda Negra, Lettal, JRC and the Crossroads, Devil's Tail Flames, and Capital 7.
While other musical groups are desperate to build a fan base,
ÖVRDRVE
gained them overnight at their very first performance as they became the top group at the "Coors' Battle of the Bands" in Ponce, Puerto Rico. They are the type of group that are ready to please the crowds that enjoy Classic Rock, Blues, guitar riffs, and loud rock 'n' Roll. Their musical influences come from recognizable acts from the past 30 plus years like: Ozzy Osbourne, Metallica, Misfits, Pantera, AC/DC, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and ZZ Top. But don't ever thing that they're a cover band...NO WAY! They write and compose their own musical material, adding a flavor "vintage rock" that reminds you what rock 'n' roll is really all about...simple, loud, and straight to the point.
