On The Radio... "Last Days Of The Century" The Album Of The Month On H.A.P.P.Y. Radio

If you ask me which 50 albums [besides from The Beatles] would be on my list, this would be among them. Al Stewart gathered a beautiful mix of songs that makes "Last Days Of The Century" a display of kind emotion that makes for a great listening. This project touches the most real emotions that one can imagine are Al's real life experiences.

Originally released in 1988, Last Days Of The Century arrived with little fanfare; signed to an independent label [Enigma Records] distributed by Capitol, there was not much airplay at the time. And while, at that time, I was swimming through the tides of Alternative music, "Last Days Of The Century" came as a blast of fresh air to my ears.

Yet, many people still think that "Time Passages" and "Year Of The Cat" are the only singles recorded by Al Stewart; but once you hear "Last Days Of The Century", you'll realize that there is more of this prolific singer/songwriter.

H.A.P.P.Y. Radio is pleased to have "Last Days Of The Century" by Al Stewart as the Album of the Month for October. Don't miss this broadcast on Thursday, October 21, starting @ 7:30 PM EST/AST, only on UStream.
