Back to the old Bloggerboard!

It's been a while since my last post on December 18. From that day on, my social life increased dramatically.....yeah, Right!

The Christmas Season was much to blame to make me abandon the "radio" blog for a bit. Most of my time was drained thanks to decorating the house, cooking, receiving guests, total writer's block and, of course, listening to the fabulous sounds of the Joyous Holidays. I also spent time downloading the whole Christmas Album collection released by Goodyear. For years I was looking for "The Joyous Songs of Christmas Volume 6" for quite some time....well, for a long time. It has a very special meaning in my life. In fact, Christmas without the "Goodyear" Holiday albums is just...not Christmas.

I spent my childhood and teenage years in Puerto Rico. The Holiday Season is always warm, with temperatures ranging between 60 and 75 degrees Fahrenheit. And while most of the population listened to typical Puerto Rican music, I longed for the cold temperature, the snow and hot cocoa that made, for me, the Season warm. Fortunately, my father was a successful factory representative, with many clients including Goodyear. Every Christmas he received many gifts from his clients, but the best came from Goodyear. My Father's professional relationship with the tire empire was exquisite. This alone was more than enough for my Dad to get all of their promotional goods. Their Christmas albums were among them.

I was very lucky...actually honored to listen the greatest music of the Season. Andy Williams, Barbra Streisand, Jan Pierce, Ray Conniff, Bing Crosby, New Christy Minstrels and other artists highlighted these great albums.

But for now, I have no plans to place a player with Christmas music. With just three weeks away from Easter, it might be a good idea to play "Jesus Christ Superstar".

Enjoy, for my inspiration has returned into its normal state. More interesting topics to blog.

It's so good to be back :D
